Stage 4

Year 7 BBQ Brekkie
A Year 7 Brekkie BBQ was held to welcome students back to school on 29th May. It was great to share good company with the aroma of sizzling bacon and eggs! Ralfe, the wonder dog, also came to share the food and fun!
Year 7
"A Body in the Classroom"
One of the fun lessons that students of 7D and 7J had towards the end of Term 1 was an investigation to determine: "What is under the sheet?".
As part of their practice as historians, students were presented with a “body” lying in the middle of the room and taped off. Their teachers, Mrs Verwayen and Miss Graham, were dressed in hazmat suits. In their attempts to infer the identity and information around the apparent death, students were encouraged to ask questions about the body such as where did it come from, how long has it been there, and who it was. The unveiling at the end of the lesson revealed a life-sized model of a human skeleton!
The investigation is on-going …
Uniform
Despite the cooler weather, it is still important that students are coming to school in their uniforms. It's a good idea to 'layer-up' by wearing long-sleeve T-shirts and singlets under the ASC hoodie.
Once again, a reminder that active-wear ie., leggings, are NOT part of the uniform. Students, however, are permitted to wear trackpants everyday ... so please leave the active-wear at home.
