This week we welcomed a visit from Bob Chandler who attended Hamilton High School around 1975... he had a tour of the Barbara Critten center and brought a photo of when the high school won the state championship in both Victoria and S.A.

Soccer news from Mr Tan

“BLSSL Season 2 will kick start in Week 5. Team registration finishes on 14th of February (Week 3 Friday). Registration for Team Business Manager ends on 21st of February (Week 4 Friday). The second season of BLSSL will end in Week 8 of Term 2 which includes Grand Final game. Week 9 of Term 2 will be trade week for Season 3 which starts in Term 3. If you have any question, please help yourself to Mr. Tan’s office. Thanks.”

Buy Back on Humanities books

The Humanities department is interested in purchasing a limited quantity of second hand Oxford Big Humanities 7 and Oxford Big Humanities 8 in very good to excellent condition.

School Bus Management 2020

2020 School Bus Travel

The School Bus Management System is now accepting travel applications for the 2020 school year.

Existing families have been notified by the system about the need to submit their child’s 2020 travel application. 

Submitting 2020 travel applications

Login to the School Bus Management System at https://schoolbusapplication.ptv.vic.gov.au/ and complete one of the following actions.

  • Existing Travellers - Families with children who require continued travel (e.g. same residential address and same school) must Renew Applications for Term 1 2020, or
  • Existing Travellers - Families with children who have changed residential address and/or school, must create a New Application for Term 1 2020, or
  • New Travellers - Families with children who have never previously travelled on a school bus, must Add Traveller/Child, then create a New Application for Term 1 2020.  
    • If family previously used the School Bus Management System, then login to the system using existing family account details.
    • However, families may need to Register and create a new account if no other siblings have previously travelled.

*** New accounts should only be created where families have not had access to the School Bus Management System *** 

What is the timeline for 2020 applications

Travel applications for 2020 must be submitted prior to 29 November 2019.  Applications received after this date will be processed after the initial round of travel offers have been made.  

Travel offers will be made to families early December 2019.  Families will then have four weeks to manage their travel offer before it lapses.

Our canteen is in desperate need of volunteers.  With limited names on the roster in 2020 (thank you  thank you thank you for your contribution to our school to those who have volunteered) we are calling for volunteers.

We do not care how long you can give.  One hour will be better than nothing.
