Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Camp

On Wednesday 5th of February, 83 very excited and nervous Year 7 students from 11 primary feeder schools left for camp.

The day started with a swim at the Halls Gap pool: free time for students to get to know each other and then activities run by the Year 10 Peer Support Leaders.

After a quick briefing by Norval staff it was off to activities – canoeing, high ropes, adventure race, team building and the hike which spanned over the three days.

Evening sport activities and a night walk capped off the first day.

More activities on a perfect Thursday at Halls Gap, a well deserved rest at the end of the day was appreciated by all.

Our last day at Norval saw our last activity completed and final farewells to Norval staff who have looked after us so well.

We leave Norval and head back to Hamilton with 83 “Baimbridge College students”.

The school values of Pride, Courage and Respect were repeatedly shown by all year 7’s in their first two weeks of school, well done.

Mrs Adams, Year 7 Coordinator.

So Organised!

Great tips from this SUPER organised Year 7 locker - by colour coding your subject folders they are instantly recognisable  - and a handy copy of your timetable on your locker door never goes astray.  If you want a copy for your locker just visit Jill.  Also if you are still having trouble with your locks please be sure to visit your Year Level Coordinator, sometime soon we will start going around locking those ones pretending to be locked during class.
