Year 12 Formal

What a glittering occasion!  The annual Year 12 Formal showcased the sophistication and elegance of our PCW students. Our students and their guests were dressed in their finery, and even the teachers appeared transformed!

Such a welcoming venue, Red Scooter in Balaclava, offered us a delectable variety of courses, from tasty finger food to chicken and vegetarian and vegan options and delicate ice cream and sweet treats to brightly-coloured mocktails (non-alcoholic, of course).  We savoured the sustenance.

Energy levels rose as the music ramped up and we danced the night away, courtesy of professional DJ, friend and past CBC student, Kelman Chen.  We enjoyed a fine selection of current and bygone hits. Bridget Saundry and Sorcha Taylor entertained us with a delightful pre-Formal film which elicited many laughs. Then finally, at the end of the evening, the awards were announced..........Best Dressed, Best Dancing Couple and more.

Overall, it was a happy gathering in a time when such social gatherings were possible!  Thank you to our student hosts, Bridie Wilcox and Juliana Neild.  They certainly enhanced the evening's air of class.  Thank you also to Tina O'Donnell and Fleur White for their preparation in the lead up to the event.  Finally, thank you to the Year 12 students who entered into the spirit of PCW's special occasion.
