PREP NEWS

What's been happening in Prep at Malvern Primary!!

The children in Prep have completed their investigation into Road and Traffic Safety. We had a visit from Annika who works for RACV in educating children about “How to be safe in traffic and on the roads”

The children were given masking tape and were encouraged to make roads, roundabouts, carparks, railway lines etc

They did an amazing job! Roads came out of classrooms and joined together into a huge junction in the Junior Hall. It was a great activity that had all children involved, building team skills and co-operation.

AFL Football Clinic

Prep children enjoyed two sessions of a football clinic over the past two weeks. Children were taught to handball, kick and mark the ball. They had lots of fun and worked with a partner to perfect their skills. The sun was shining and there were lots of smiles.

Rubbish

We have been looking into our Malvern Primary School Values and one of them is, “Respect the environment”.

The Prep children were saddened to see so much rubbish left on the ground last Friday that they decided to pick up lunch wrappers, cans, chip packets to name a few.

We hope this photo helps remind children to put their rubbish in the bins provided. Together we can do a much better job of caring for our environment.
