Year 7 Chinese Dragons

Our year 7 students have really enjoyed exploring and learning to draw and paint Chinese Dragons with water colour.

Year 8 Art

Mythological Creatures

Students have used their imagination to combine both real and imaginary creatures to produce some wonderfully creative artworks.

Lino Printing

Students made lino printes based on Fijian and Papua New Guinea TAPA.  Tapa serves a variety of purposed and is stoll work on formal occasions such as weddings.  Other uses are as blankets or room dividers.  In Tonga a family is considered poor, no matter how much money they have, if they do not have any Tapa in stock at home to give as gifts at marriages, funerals etc.

Year 10 Recycled Materials

Year 10 students were set the task of designing and producing a corset from recycled materials. The students thoroughly enjoy the process and produced some outstanding corsets.
