School Photos - Week 9
Master School Portraits (MSP) will be taking our school photos on Wednesday 16th June at the INFANTS Campus and Thursday 17th June at the PRIMARY Campus.
Family Portraits: Please note Family photos will be taken in the Primary Hall at recess time (11.00-11.40am) on Thursday 17th June for families with children at BOTH campuses. INFANTS parents will need to transport their children from the Infants to the Primary Hall.
If your children attend the Infants only, and you would like a Family Photo, they will be taken at the Infants Campus on Wednesday 16th June after the class groups.
All families can order school photos via the Compass Parent Portal. Any enquiries, please direct them to Master School Portraits in Armidale by phoning 6772 3519.
IMPORTANT Information for Infants' Student Photos - CHANGE OF UNIFORM
ALL INFANTS students (K-2) are requested to wear NORMAL school winter uniform (including a tie) for school photos on Wednesday 16th June, NOT SPORTS UNIFORM.
As a result of the above change, all INFANTS students are requested to wear their sports uniform on Tuesday 15th June.
PRIMARY students remain unaffected and wear their sports uniform as normal on Wednesday 16th June.

School Fees
A reminder that Term 2 School Fees were due last Friday 28th May. Thank you to all our families who have already paid. Payments can be made with the Qkr! App, CentrePay, direct credit to the school's bank account or direct debit through ADIG. If you wish to set up an ADIG direct debit, please see either school office for the relevant form. When accessing Qkr!, payment can be made under one child's name (school fees only) and when paying direct into the school's bank account please use your account no. (located under the date on the statement) and your surname (or first four letters if insufficient space).
We ask that all parents sign up for the Qkr! App as this enables you to pay for most school activities online. You will need to have your location services turned on your device to be able to pick up St Edward's Tamworth as an option.

Winter Uniform Reminder
Our St Edward's School uniform is something that sets us apart from other schools and something which should be worn with pride. We wish to advise parents that the official date for changeover from summer to winter uniform is after the June long weekend (Tuesday 15th June). Please ensure this includes the correct black school shoes (not sport shoes) and a school tie. The following new school winter items are available for purchase via the Qkr! App: jumper ($35), jacket ($70), tie ($25), girls navy knee high socks ($10), girls winter navy tights ($10), scarf ($10).
Labelling of Uniform Items
As the cooler weather is now upon us, we are seeing many jumpers and jackets in the Lost Property baskets. These baskets are cleared regularly and clearly labelled items are returned to their rightful owners. It is impossible to return items where the label is difficult to read or not labelled at all. Your assistance in labelling ALL uniform items and food containers is much appreciated. Please check the baskets if your child/ren have misplaced any items.
Kinder 2022 Enrolments
Word about St Edward's learning program and increasing academic results has reverberated across our community. Demand for places in Kindergarten for the 2022 academic years has skyrocketed with over 75% of places filled. If you know of any family living within our Parish boundary looking for a place at St Edward's for next year, please advise them to phone the Infants Campus on 6765 8569 and obtain an enrolment package.
STUDENT ABSENCES
Please notify the school if your child is absent. This can be done using the 'Add Attendance Note' function in the Compass Parent Portal. Due to government legislation, notification of your child's absence must be received no later than 7 days after your child's last day of absence. If you know your child/ren will be away on future dates, for example if you are going to be away on a family holiday, absences can be input in advance of the holiday.
Please note that if you are collecting your child early from school for an appointment you must sign your child out using the Compass kiosk in the office. Please do not use the Parent Portal to try and record that your child will be leaving early as this inadvertently marks them as them as being absent all day.
Recycle your Bread Bags and Tags
We are collecting empty bread bags and tags (it can be any bread bags and tags - not just Wonder White) to be recycled and made into exercise equipment. Collection boxes are located at both the Infants and Primary Campus.
