Confirmation

Thank you to the families who have responded to the Operoo notice inviting children in Year 6 who are baptised Catholics to celebrate their Sacrament of Confirmation this year.

As we required two Masses for the number of candidates we have, Father Raju has been given permission again this year to confer this sacrament. This is happening in many parishes across Melbourne due to the restrictions of this and last year and the shortage of Bishops.

Commitment Mass - 

We had planned to celebrate our Confirmation Commitment Mass next Thursday morning, but in the current situation it will be rescheduled. We will inform you of the new date when we can re-schedule.

Family Faith Night - Thursday 3rd June, 7pm-8pm

Next Thursday we will holding our Family Faith Night via Google Meet, so regardless of the restrictions this will still take place. Families will need some paper and something to write with, please join us at 7pm.

This night is a great opportunity for parents, families and candidates to spend some time talking and learning about the Sacrament of Confirmation, the Sacraments of Initiation and they way we celebrate these steps on our Catholic faith journeys.

Confirmation Reflection Day - Monday 19th July

Next term on the second Monday we will gather with the Year 6 students from Sacred Heart for our Confirmation Reflection Day at Lysterfield. More details and an Operoo will follow.
