I would like an abundance of peace.

I would like full vessels of charity.

I would like rich treasures of mercy.

I would like cheeerfulness to preside over all.

St Brigid of Kildare

Dear Families

Can you believe it is the end of Term 2 already!  Another term of a COVID disruption, but within all of that some amazing learning has taken place.

Our Inquiry topic for Term 2, was Change with a focus on chemical science for Years 1-6 and Biological Science for our Foundation students .

Our Foundation students watched as their caterpillars went through their life cycle and emerged from their chrysalis to then be released with prayers of gratitude for creation.

Our Year 1/2 students had a fun filled day of science experiments which included lava lamps, popcorn making and a mini volcano, and today some balloon rockets will be taking off!!

Our 3/4 students have looked at the 3 states of matter and how they can change when adding or removing heat.

Our 5/6 students were looking at Solar Power and designed and manufactured solar powered ovens.

Special Visitors

We had special visitors today - Cleo and Zoe Finster. It was lovely to see them both and how quickly Cleo has grown!
