School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Framework

At Reservoir High School we are continuing our work of building positive student-family-school relationships. We have high expectations for our students with excellent procedures and processes to ensure a positive climate for learning. In conjunction with the high expectations, we have high support for the students who at times need extra assistance.

In order to bring all of our processes, supports and expectations together to create consistency across the school, Reservoir High is implementing the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework.

Essentially, SWPBS is about:

  • Positive reinforcement of expected behaviours, in combination with expectations, boundaries, consequences and supports, and
  • Building positive relationships

Currently all staff and students are working on a Behaviour Matrix of the Reservoir High expected behaviours for different settings across the school aligned with our school values. At a later date we will be seeking feedback from parents/carers.

If you have any questions, please contact Cath Zahra (SWPBS Leader) or Lea Volpe (Assistant Principal)
