The immunisations for Year 7 and 10 will occur the week of the 27th  of March so please return the consent forms as soon as possible even if you are choosing not to have your child immunised at school. 

Dental Consent forms need to be returned also as the Dental van will be at school from 20th March. This is a great opportunity for every student to have a free check-up. Dental staff will then contact parents if treatment is required.

School Doctors Clinic – The Clinic will not be available next week as the Dr Jo and Michelle as well as Kerry and myself are attending an Adolescent Health update at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Vaping is a growing concern with many health problems documented linked to its use. A reminder that it is illegal for under 18 year old’s to purchase or vape. No vaping will be tolerated at school with the updated policy stating that consequences for vaping at school are the same as smoking at school.

Just a reminder we all must be Sun Smart for the Swimming Sports. Hats must be worn by all, and sunscreen will be available.  I will be encouraging everyone to reapply sunscreen during the day.
