Kids Corner

By Ethan - 2E

The “Kids’ Corner” section of our school newsletter provides the opportunity for the children to showcase their talents or communicate something special.

This fortnight, Ethan - Year 2, has written a piece about a hermit crab. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did! Well done Ethan and keep up the amazing attitude towards your learning.

The Hermit Crab

One sunny scorching Saturday, a normal hermit crab strolled happily on the soft sand, humming.
He could hear the crashing waves out in the tide. The hermit crab thought it was too noisy. He dug underground and took the shell-train and met his friend.

They were chatting but the poor hermit crab fell into the current!

Travelling through the streams of very salty sea-water. When he swam back, he was happy because he landed on a shore. However, he was not home.

That night he spotted a fallen starfish and wished he was home. The next morning, he woke up at home!
