To All White Gum Valley Parents/Carers,
Our School P&C needs you for 2023!
The WGVPS Parents & Citizens Committee (P&C) is a group of volunteer parents/carers who work together to strengthen opportunities for students to learn and grow, build a community and promote the interests of our wonderful school.
We need the P&C to operate our canteen, our uniform shop, fund raise, run social events and make decisions on how to spend our funds. The P&C is vital to the school community!
As a P&C Member you get to:
● Have a say in shaping opportunities at the school
● Meet other parents/carers
● Make a tangible difference to our school!
To get involved in the P&C you can:
● Nominate for the executive - President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
● Join a subcommittee.
● Join as a general member. For $1 you can become a P&C member with voting rights.
● Attend meetings. We have two meetings per term.
● Be a class rep communicating P&C information to your child’s class via email.
● Be a fundraising ambassador for your year group
● Help out at events
● Volunteer in the canteen. The kids love seeing familiar faces in the canteen!
● Share your ideas for fundraising, events, or ways to make the school even better!
How do I join?
Please come along to the AGM on Wednesday, 22 February at 6:30pm in the school library (with your $1 coin!), email wgvprimaryschoolpandc@gmail.com or contact our current President, Courtney, on 0423 822 889.
To find our more and get involved in our vibrant school community, come along to the AGM on Wednesday 22 Feb in the school library. We will be having a wine and cheese welcome at 6:30pm before a 7:00pm start.

Uniform Shop
The P&C WGVPS Uniform Service is run by volunteers:
Limited stock is held onsite and primarily reserved for new families. Items and sizes are subject to availability and purchases made at the shop may be restricted to 1 of any item per child (not for new families), depending on stock levels.
It is therefore essential that you submit your order form twice a year (term 1 - approx March 2023 and term 3 approx August 2023), as this is when we order directly from the suppliers. The next orders to be placed will be the Winter and Sports Carnival order 2023, the order form will be made available on the website, newsletter and also given as a handout for students to bring home.
