PC 2023 Kick Off Meeting: Thank you to everyone who attended and the support from the School Executive. We discussed: proposed events for 2023, calendar of events, fundraising projects and costings, electronic payments and a proposed CJC School Garage Sale day in late March coordinated by Anne-Sophie-Aguado.
New Pain Au Chocolate Provider: We are very excited to announce that from next week for 2023 we will have a new pain au chocolate supplier for CJC – Pierrick Boyer of Réverie Café in Prahran. Pains au Chocolate will be sold for $4 (usually retailing at $6). Chef Boyer is a parent at the school and we are both pleased to support our CJC community and to offer a delicious pastry to the school community.
Friday Treats: Friday Treats are back! We will sell both Icy Poles ($2) and from next week the new Réverie Café Pain aux Chocolate ($4) for sale. Please bring change. We are working on having electronic payments available for every Friday – just waiting for the new sales terminals to arrive. The class volunteer roster will be published soon.
2023 Class Convenors: All convenor positions are now filled. Thank you to everyone who came forward. Class lists were just distributed and the class WhatsApp groups will be created soon by your Convenor. If you did not give permission to be included on the class list, and you would now like to be included, please contact the office. Your Convenor can not add you to the WhatsApp chat until your consent has been formally recorded by the School.
Class Convenor Welcome Breakfast: On Friday 24 February from 8.30 – 9.30am , PC would like to invite all of the new and returning Class Convenors to a welcome breakfast for 2023.
School Working Bee: Sunday, February 26 from 1 - 4pm, the PC will offer a BBQ for all families that come and help for the afternoon. Thank you Clarel Philibert for coordinating the BBQ.
Parent’s Committee AGM: CHANGE OF DATE to Friday, 10 March at 9 – 10.30. We will report on 2022, share our 2023 plans and elect new office holders. All welcome. Morning Tea will be provided. Either in person or virtually. Zoom dial in to be provided.
