Eucalyptus House
Meet the Eucalyptus House Captains!
Hey everyone, our names are Olia and Asra! We are the Eucalyptus House Captains for 2023. We aim to be great role models for the school, as well as to be leaders who are looked up to and are easily approachable. Along with the rest of the leadership team, we are extremely excited to represent Dandy High for 2023!
Welcome back to our dear Eucalyptus students and staff members. I hope that you are all enjoying Term 1 with all the excitement and joy that comes with learning at school. Firstly, let me thank all the teachers that help the students and grant them the encouragement that they need to get through each day.
Our eager Year 7 students started their new year very well and this makes Eucalyptus House very proud. They did some fun and interesting activities as they were introduced to secondary school. Students participated in a number of programs, one of them being a bullying workshop. They learnt how to collaborate, along with being respectful and considerate of others.
Students participated at the school Swimming Carnival. I want to congratulate Hakea House for winning the swimming sports, as well as the other respected Houses who competed. I want to especially congratulate the Eucalyptus students who participated in the carnival. To the following students: Isabella – E7, Boon Joseh – E7, Isaaq – E7, Melad– E7, D’zyre – E7, Linda – E8, Julia – E8, Hassan – E8, Tim – E8, Berrin – E9 and Hadi – E10, thanks for your contribution and efforts on the day.
Our main goals for 2023 are to raise money for social service, to try and have greater participation in whole school events, such as the Athletics Sports and Chorales. We will continue to focus on our Community Commitment in order to make Eucalyptus a safe and happy place for everyone.
Wishing good luck to all students and staff.
