Women in STEM Excursion

This term, 25 Year 9 and 10 girls had the opportunity to attend a Women in STEM event hosted by our civil engineering industry partners Seymour Whyte. The girls got to hear from women working in a variety of fields in civil engineering, attend a site visit and then participate in an engineering challenge working with engineer mentors. 

The girls took full advantage of the day asking lots of questions and exploring career options that many had never considered. We are thankful to our industry partners for offering such opportunities.
