A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Diocesan Swimming

Thanks to Mrs Bartholomew for supervising our students; Hayden, Alex, Ricky, Ryder, Jorja and Andy at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Gunnedah last Friday. I was pleased to hear we were the loudest cheerers present and our students were wonderful ambassadors for our school. Congratulations to Ricky Hird, Jorja Jamieson and Andy Bartholomew for being selected to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Trials on 30th March.

Art Competition

Next week entries will be accepted for our Annual Art Competition. The cost to enter is a Gold Coin donation and all monies raised will go towards Project Compassion. What an easy way to help those less fortunate and have fun as well. Many thanks to Mrs Hofman who has coordinated this competition for the past two years.  I can’t wait to see the amazing creativity of our students.

PT & F

Please put Wednesday 8th March at 6.00pm in your calendar, as it is the date of our first PT & F Meeting for this year. We have an enthusiastic committee who would love you to come along and give your support. The meetings are held in Mrs Bartholomew’s classroom so that if you need to bring your children they can play safely in the adjoining classroom.

Garden Lovers Club!

Our school gardens have produced many tomatoes and a huge amount of silverbeet! We need further planning to build upon this success. If you would like to join us and share your expertise or passion for gardening please come to a meeting on Wednesday 15th March at 2.00pm in the school library.

Have a happy week.
