Prep Bags

All our Prep students recently received their special Prep bag. Every Prep student attending a Victorian government school receives a bag full of useful and engaging items when they start at school from the Victorian Government to celebrate this milestone in their education journey. The theme for this year’s Prep bags is 'Moving on up', recognising and celebrating the transition from kindergarten to school and encouraging children to move more. The bag included:

• Five specially chosen children’s books: 
  • Bedtime Sorted! by Jimmy Rees 
  • Stellarphant by James Foley 
  • The Biscuit Maker by Sue Lawson 
  • The Two-Hearted Numbat by Ambelin & Ezekiel Kwaymullina 
  • What Colour is the Sea? by Katie Stewart

• a Literacy and Numeracy Tips booklet; and 
• a Get Your Move On foldable frisbee 

The bag is ideal to use as a Library bag in the years ahead.
