Year 7

As we approach the end of the school year, we remind ourselves of the journey the Year 7 students have been on since the start of the school year. I have been very proud of the progress the boys have made, both in remote and onsite learning.

Normally, at this time of the year, we would have students currently involved in SIS Sport including Soccer, Tennis, Cricket, Basketball and the SJC Junior Production. Although these activities were not able to take place in 2020, I encourage all students to put their hands up to participate in the large variety of co-curricular activities that we will have to offer here at the college in 2021, as part of the ACC competitions.

I would like to extend my continued appreciation to the teachers for all the time and effort they have put in to facilitate a smooth transition into onsite learning this semester. We are all dedicated to creating a safe and successful learning environment by working in partnership as a school community.

Finally, to this fine group of young men who have made up the Year 7 class of 2020, congratulations on your many achievements. I wish you well for Year 8 and hope that you will all continue to make the most of your many opportunities as we embark on our next chapter as a college. To our final St James College Year 7 students and their families, may you have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year period.
