Houses Down Under

In Geography, Year 5 having been looking at how the environment shapes the places we live. To do this, at the start of the term we looked at different climates of different countries. Students over the past 2 weeks have been designing and building a house to match a certain country. From Oliver and Kody "We built a house that is suitable to live in Australia. Our house has a pool to keep cool during the extreme heat we get. We are also going to add solar panels to our roof to power our electricity for the house and a large tank because of the drought."

Volume & Capacity in Kinder

What better way to learn maths than stepping into the new sandpit to learn about volume and capacity. Kinder had an absolute blast.
