Bucket Fillers

The idea behind the Bucket Filler theory is that each interaction with another person is a chance to build wellbeing. The theory developed by Clifton and Rath is that people have an invisible bucket and that by doing something kind for someone,  you not only fill their bucket but your own too!

Every week at Assembly, 'Bucket Filler' certificates will be presented to winners and they will be celebrated for their act of kindness. Students, teachers and parents are able to nominate others, or be nominated themselves for a 'Bucket Filler' award. To nominate someone, simply complete a nomination form which can be found outside the office, and then place it in the aqua basket. Alternatively, parents can email me nominations via Compass.

I look forward to presenting our first 'Bucket Filler' awards next week!
