Junior School Sport

IPSSO

Over the last couple of weeks, students from Years 2-5 have been trialling for 2021 Summer IPSSO Teams; Basketball, Cricket, Girls Soccer and Oz Tag.

During the trials, students have participated in drills and modified games that have allowed them to display their skill set associated with their sport.

Some students have already moved onto their second preference in hope of still being in contention to represent the College in the 2021 IPSSO competition. The Summer Teams will be finalised early Term 1. Stay tuned!

Sports Wrap Up 2020

2020 was a challenging year on many fronts and trying to have sporting competitions was one of them. In Term 1, we were able to hold our Junior School Swimming Carnival, we were fortunate to have students from the Junior School compete in the Western Region Swimming Carnival, Wollongong Trials, Mark Taylor Shield and some IPSSO games.

In Term 2 we held our Junior School Cross Country here on the College grounds. In Term 3 were able to hold our Junior School Athletics Carnival and in Term 4 we had IPSSO friendlies against St Peter’s.

The sporting talent we have in the Junior School is impressive and I look forward to 2021 when we can compete normally in our sporting disciplines.

Finally, I wish you and your families, a safe and wonderful holiday.  I look forward to seeing you all in 2021!!!
