 National Reconciliation Week

 This week in the garden we have worked in our indigenous garden and have learnt about varieties of trees and plants that have been used by our Aboriginal culture for hundreds of years .  We identified Lemon Myrtle trees, Lomandra bushes, Correa flowering shrubs and Black Sheoak trees.

Our Year 5/6ś weeded and mulched our indigenous garden and also finished off our bee theme by planting up bee friendly plants. We planted up some natives and took cutting of lavendar and rosemanry . 

Our Year 1ś continued to plant up load of flowers for our beeś and meet our goats

Sky & Bobby.

It was great to plant up our last veggies into our Italian garden .  We planted Kale, Cauliflower and peas, the cooler days will mean slow growing for our veggies.
