PULSE

THE HEART OF BHCS PARENT COMMUNITY

Our ‘Pulse’ parents group – known as the heart of the BHCS Parent community, generously provides two essential functions for our school:

  • Ensuring all families feel welcome and connected, by providing opportunities to bring the school community together through a wide range of activities, interactions, and annual events.
  • Providing helpful services for our parent community, some of which raise funds that are used to offer gestures of care to families in times of need, or to support the activity of parent connection.

Our Pulse Coordinator is:

Amanda Wight pulse@bhcs.vic.edu.au

Our current parent representatives on the BHCS Council are:

Amanda Wight, Yolanda Cox, Sandra Aggromito and Caroline Chudasko

MOTHERS DAY - THANK YOU

Once again, our Pulse parents team has delivered a wonderful service to our school community through an excellently prepared Mother's Day Stall. We are confident that our BHCS Mums would have all been blessed in abundance when they opened the beautiful and creative gifts, carefully selected by their children from our stall.

Thank you to the BHCS Mums who gave of their time and energy to create, resource, dream-up, wrap, and present such a generous and creative gift stall for our community. You are simply amazing and we are grateful for each one of you.

It is a pleasure to serve our BHCS families. Our Pulse parents served with their hands and hearts and were blessed through connection together. Look out for more ways to get involved with this fabulous group of parents.

PARENT COFFEE MORNINGS

BHCS parents are welcome to utilise our on-site Cafe on Tuesday mornings each week, as our Coffee Mornings for parents continue this term. We hope to see you there!

Please rest assured that our leaders and timetable team continue to consider solutions for how to extend this time to other days of the week! Currently, Tuesday is a day that affects the least number of Years 11 and 12 students who rely on this space as a study area.

We thank you for your understanding and hope you are able to join us on a Tuesday soon!
