Geography connects to the real world
Our Year 9 Geography students had an excellent day visiting local produce farms recently and experiencing some of the theory they have been learning about in class in real life.
Some highlights from the day were testing the best Pink Lady apples at Plunkett's Orchards, delicious baby cucumbers at Flavorite and getting up close with the cutest little dairy calves at Tyler's Farm!
The students learnt a lot of valuable information throughout the day, from career pathways, to how large scale farms operate and how the products connect people and places, not just locally but all around the world!
Thank you to CCLLEN for organising the day.
