Le Français

Bonjour!

After completing their presentation on "Pour sauver la Terre", Grade 5 and 6 and will be looking at how the French use their cuisine as a means of creating sustainable cooking  measures. Did you know that the French use their leftovers to make delicious and wholesome foods? A perfect example of this is a quiche...you can almost put any leftover veggie or meat and add eggs and cheese and ...voilà! C'est délicieuse!

Grade 3 and 4 have enjoyed using Languagenut this week to hone their skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing about animals in French. Students have individual log ins and are welcome to use the app at any time, at home.

 "Marcher à l'école, utiliser les voitures éléctriques" and "faire du vélo" were this week's Grade1 and 2 phrases as they continue to look at how we save the planet.

Congratulations to Arthur in 1JT (as seen in the cover photo for this week's French newsletter page) for completing, at home, a huge Lego construction of La Tour Eiffel. What a fantastic effort! Bravo et magnifique !
