Child Protection Curriculum

I am sure you would agree that there is nothing more precious than the safety of our children and the rights they have to grow up in a world that values their contributions, strengths and personalities.

At Curiosity we believe that it is our responsibility to provide an environment that provides children with the opportunity to learn about their identity and their rights to live in this world without harm.

Our Blue and Orange Teams will commence some specific learning around our bodies and our rights to feel safe.  I ask you to read the attached letter and contact your child's Lead Educator (Mrs Vanessa or Mrs Shelly) if you have any further questions.

Whilst some of the concepts outlined within this concept summary may appear confronting, our approach to teaching these is done in an extremely sensitive manner and within small groups during Together Times.  

Our Green Team do explore concepts outlined in this summary, however the language used around Focus Area 3 is covered in our 4 year old program.
