Term 2 2023

The wellbeing team has had some exciting things happening and we want to thank you all for participating and getting involved.

We have a youth worker!! TJ joined us this term and he’s going to tell you a bit about himself and what he’s got happening within the wellbeing space.

Youth Worker - Tj

Hi everyone, my name is Tia Junior Euese, but everybody calls me TJ. If you played any sports, you probably remember me from last year but this year I have taken up a new role as a Youth Worker.  My role in a nutshell is to basically help students. I love being in my bed watching movies and TV shows, I love playing video games and I love listening to music! I am here Mondays to Thursdays. You’ll probably see me out and about, during Breakfast Club or just running some lunchtime activities! Looking forward to seeing you all!

We enjoyed seeing you all get into the spirit of celebrating IDAHOBIT day with us, whether that was coming to wellbeing for a movie and popcorn or dancing like no body was watching at the Rainbow Dance Party. We had so much and enjoyed celebrating a very important day creating awareness for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Jessie and Diane from SECL have so enjoyed running the two taster session in the drama for their SEAct program and will be running it again during lunchtime on Wednesdays so please come along for some theatrical fun and food!

Lastly Tj will be running three lunchtime activities in the wellbeing classroom starting next week. We look forward to seeing you there!
