Whole School Production
Alice the Musical
based on “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll
The countdown is on for our 2023 Whole School Production of “Alice the Musical” - rehearsals are well underway.
Every student will be performing in this special event, as part of our Performing Arts program, with each year level performing 2 musical items.
The story of ‘Alice the Musical’ brings to life Lewis Carroll’s much-loved story, taking us on a musical journey through the mysterious world of Wonderland.
Alice falls into a deep sleep while being read a book by her sister, and has the most wonderful dream! She meets an extraordinary cast of quirky characters, including White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts and, of course, the zany Mad Hatter!
We have booked Kingston City Hall for three performances of the show - a morning dress rehearsal and evening performance on Tuesday 8 August, and another evening performance on Wednesday 9 August.
Rehearsals for our Year 5-6 main ensemble cast are taking place at lunch and snack times. The class items are being rehearsed in our Performing Arts sessions each week.
More information will be available in coming weeks about tickets, costumes, make-up and other exciting updates.
In the meantime, if you are able to assist with props, sets, photography, video, costumes or anything else, please feel free to contact P&F President Kate Blake: kateblake13@gmail.com
