Deputy Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers
Melbourne United Wellbeing Program
Our Year 4 students have been lucky enough to take part in a trial Wellbeing program run by Melbourne United basketball team. This program aims to support students in Year 3&4 to embed resiliency, respect, excellence and inclusion behaviours into their classroom and playground culture. The STAND TALL program supports children to build positive relationships and instill a growth mindset by focusing on social and emotional learning through in-classroom discussions and on-court practical experiences.
Each of the four sessions focused on the themes of EXCELLENCE, SELFLESS, INCLUSIVE and COMMUNITY, addressed bullying and imparted messages of kindness and respect. Students also got to see and hear the powerful stories of the Melbourne United players who exemplify, and role model the above values.
