Principal's Report

Principal's Message
Dear Families,
This Term I have been extremely busy conducting school tours for prospective new families. Everytime I have a tour around the school I am very proud of our students and staff in the way they conduct themselves. The respectful relationships are very evidently on show for all to see. Our reputation in the wider community is incredibly strong and we have been inundated with applications for Prep 2024 and also other year levels. Demand for places has been so strong that we are now completely full for Prep 2024 with a waiting list established for this cohort intake. Three of our other current cohorts have waiting list places only as well - Prep, Year 2 and Year 5.
This provides great security for our school community with not only stable enrolments but the follow on effect is that we are able to provide additional extra services for our community in the way of - Occupational Therapist on Staff, additional LSO support in classrooms, expanded specialist programs, Library lessons and intervention/extension services. It is a privilege for me to be a part of such a wonderful thriving community.
Mothers Day Activities
Thank you to the P & F members who ran the Mother's Day Stall today for our students. There were many happy faces leaving the library today after some very well thought out purchases. Tomorrow morning is our Mother's Day breakfast and Lunch, my thanks to the P & F again for all of the hard work that has gone into preparing for these very important events. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our Mothers a Happy Mother's Day this Sunday. I hope you all have a wonderful time with family and friends.
Parents and Friends Meeting
My thanks to the P & F for the meeting held on Tuesday evening this week. It was so wonderful to hear all of the amazing things that are happening in our community. Our major projects for this year (excluding the work around the relocation of the library to upstairs and the addition of an Italian Classroom) will be to refurbish the grassy steps and the areas on either side of the hall. I am working with the SRC at the moment to prepare submissions for these areas for the community to inspect.
