Principal Report

Welcome Back to Term 2

It is with great pleasure that I welcome the Belmore School students and community back to term two. Our students were all very happy to return to school, refreshed and ready to learn after our Easter break. We are looking forward to a busy and productive term.

During the final assembly of term one we had the wonderful opportunity of recognising our newly appointed student leadership team and the action teams that they will be representing this year. Please join me in congratulating the following students:

  • Jed Shelley was elected as the student leader for the Leadership action team.
  • Livian Hunt was elected as the student leader for the Learning action team.
  • Massimo Climi was elected as the student leader for the Wellbeing action team.

We were very fortunate to have Jess Wilson MP Member for Kew attend our assembly to present the students with their leadership badges. I look forward to working together with the student leadership team in my new role as school Principal.

Happy Mother's Day

It is with great delight that our school community welcomes back one of our most beloved special events this term, hosting our wonderful Mother's day afternoon tea. This will be held on Friday the 12th of May from 1:45pm - 2:45pm. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the school community back into our school for special events such as these. If you wish to take your child home after attending, can you please let Carole in the office know.

Positive Behaviour Support

Our behaviour for this term is: BE KIND

We encourage all our Staff and Students to demonstrate this behaviour each day and acknowledge acts of kindness when seen.

Your support in identifying this behaviour at home will assist our students to understand the importance of being kind.
