Congratulations to our library assistants

On Monday 20 March, we held a certificate presentation for the 2022 Student Library Assistant Program. We celebrated with the students who volunteered in the library last year, successfully completing the duties and tasks that make up the library competencies, including:

• Ability to fulfil customer service requests, such as lending and returning books.
• Problem solving skills, including assisting with printing and photocopying, as well as arranging books according to the DDC sequence.
• Collection development and maintenance, such as making suggestions for the collection and covering books.
• Information and communication technology skills, for example using the library database Access-It.
