Aboriginal Cultural Day
On Monday the first of May, two Aboriginal elders drove to Macedon Primary School to teach us about Indigenous culture. We learnt about Australian animal noises and sounds, Indigenous games and teaching Indigenous stories through dance. The whole school participated in the Rainbow Serpent dance. The Indigenous elders who came were: Uncle Paul and Auntie Gabby, who were both really delighted to be at MPS. We really appreciated them teaching us and the work and effort they put into the program. We had lots of fun participating in the program. The whole school had a fun day and we went home learning more about the aboriginal culture.
