New research to advance safety for children with disabilities and medical conditions on our roads
Does your child use a speciality harness/vest when travelling in a motor vehicle?
Mobility and Accessibility for Children in Australia Ltd (MACA) is seeking your valuable feedback.
Please complete this 10-15-minute survey to share your family’s experience of using
these products and go in the draw to win one of ten $100 vouchers. The survey is part of a two-year research project to improve knowledge about harnesses and vests, and how they are used. The outcomes of this work will help to develop information and recommendations to guide harness/vest use for children.
MACA is leading this Austroads project (2022-2024), in partnership with The George Institute for Global Health, and the study has been approved by the UNSW Human Research Ethics Committee (HC220818). MACA is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to advancing the rights of children with disabilities and medical conditions to safe.
