Friendly Reminders
Please ensure you have downloaded the ‘SeeSaw’ and ‘Skoolbag’ application to keep up to date with all important information and your child's learning.
We will also continue to email fortnightly catch ups to all parents, as a way of communicating. Our classroom opens at 8:40am - all parents and visitors so please feel free to come in and say hello.

Our general timetable will stay the same as Term 1.

Reminder that all students are required to wear their sports uniforms on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Homework
Just a reminder that students are to continue reading for 10 minutes a night and practising their Magic words. Please record reading in your child’s reading journal. We will be following our timetable from Term 1, in regards to the day we will be changing readers and testing words. Please also remember that the books your child takes home are meant to be easy for them. This is to build confidence and fluency. They will be reading more difficult books in the classroom where the teacher can scaffold them and provide support to the students. Please make sure you are also discussing the stories with your child, as this will continue to help improve their oral language, which is a precursor to a successful reader. We suggest that you also read and discuss your child’s library book with them several times during the week.
