Year 10 Connections 

Wednesday 10 May to Friday 12 May 

The focus for Year 10 students is on Preparing for the Future. On Wednesday, Year 10 students will hear about Pathways at Friends’ - TCE, IB and VET in the morning.  Students will then participate in workshops focusing on their Career Action Plan. On Thursday, students will participate in a service/skill building day and on Friday 12 May students in Years 10, 11 and 12 will participate in the Career Expo which runs from 8.35am to 11.55am at Clemes. All Year 10 students will then attend Long Tutor and will hear from subject specialist areas in the afternoon.  

Careers Expo, Years 10, 11 and 12

The careers expo for Years 10, 11 and 12 students is being held on Friday 12 May. The day will start with a brief registration followed by a keynote session in The Farrall Centre. Following this, all students will participate in four different sessions hearing from specialists from a variety of different industries and career fields.

Year 8 Outdoor Education - Coastal Program

1-5 or 8-12 May

Students in Year 8 will soon be embarking on their coastal journey program.  Students will spend four days at either Bruny Island or Freycinet peninsula.  Parent information has been sent home via Operoo outlining the program.  Could parents/guardians please work with their children to help them plan and prepare their food and gear for the week.  The outdoor education google site available here has a wealth of information for students.
