Welcome back for term two. I hope you had a lovely Easter filled with much joy and peace.

Sacramental Program (First Eucharist & Confirmation)

On Sunday 23rd April, the children making their First Eucharist and Confirmation this year attended Mass and were presented as candidates. They wore white sashes to show the parish who to pray for and also said the ‘Our Father’ out the front with Fr. John Paul. When you attend Mass next, make sure that you check out the candidate photos in the foyer.

These students are continuing to work their way through the ‘Steps in Faith’ program at home with their families. We pray for them as they explore the meaning of the Eucharist and begin looking at the Saint they will take their confirmation name from. 

Catholic Education Week

This week we have celebrated Catholic Education Week for 2023 and we have much to celebrate! In our 2023 theme - “Let the words you speak always be full of grace,” remind us of the importance, privilege and responsibility of the vocation we have chosen. The week provides an opportunity to celebrate and share with our community all the great things about Sacred Heart.
