CARE AND SHARE PROGRAM

A MESSAGE FROM AMANDA (COORDINATOR OF THE CARE AND SHARE PROGRAM)
Time to hand over to a new set of helping hands ……
I am formally stepping down as co-ordinator of the Care & Share Program. I am hoping that someone would like to step up into this important role so this brilliant program doesn’t have to cease at Murrumbeena Primary School.
The Program has been running very successfully over the past 12 years helping out over 29 families from anything like dropping off a cooked dinner for the family to mowing lawns, making school lunches, taking a sickie to an appointment, walking the family dog, child minding or cleaning the house!
My role as co-ordinator involves rostering volunteers on a particular day to provide whatever is required by the family in need. There are many volunteers already on this program willing to help out with many different things. At present we do not have any families needing the program – so plenty of time to get your head around what is required.
If you are interested in being the Co-ordinator of the Care & Share Program – please let me know ASAP. I am very happy to give you an in depth hand over with all the templates etc that you will need to continue.
I want to say a big thank you to all of the volunteers over the past 12 years who have volunteered their time, love and support for the families in need. The small gesture from the volunteer makes the world of difference to the family in need. It is a great community we live in with very warm, caring and loving members. Thank you!
Looking forward to hearing from anyone who in interested in taking over from me.
Thanks Amanda Daemen
