College Office Closure

A reminder to parents and carers that the College Office will be closed on Friday 21 August, the student-free day, so that all staff can participate in a Spirituality Day.

 

If you require supervision for your child/ren on this day, please complete the Child Care Booking form below and return to the College Office by Friday 14 August

To ensure adequate staffing of our program, bookings must be made. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate children who arrive without a booking in place.

 

If you need to contact Child Care on the day, please call their direct line: 6216 7920 as the College Office will be unattended.

Kinder 2021 Enrolments

Enrolment applications for Kindergarten in 2021 are currently being taken.

Should you have a child, or know someone, who will be starting Kindergarten in 2021 and have not yet submitted an enrolment form, please complete the form by clicking this link or visit the College Office for a printed copy. 

 

For any families who are thinking of ceasing their enrolment at Mount Carmel College in December 2020, a reminder that written notice of at least ten school weeks is required prior to withdrawal of a student from the school. Where notice is not provided, full tuition fees and all levies will need to be paid for the number of weeks where notice was not provided.

Scholarships

Scholarships are now available for students entering Years 5 and 7 in 2021. Our scholarships provide new opportunities for girls, foster interests and encourage excellence across all areas.

 

Year 5 Scholarships

For students new to Catholic Education

  • Academic Scholarship: for high academic performance across subject areas.
  • The Arts Scholarship: demonstrated participation in a selected field of The Arts.
  • Sport Scholarship: demonstrated achievement in a chosen sporting field at school, community, state or national level.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship: for those who identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which she lives.

Year 7 Scholarships

For all students entering Year 7

  • Sisters of Charity Scholarship: for those who follow in the footsteps of our founders, through service to the community and display a commitment to social justice and the environment.
  • All Rounder Scholarship: for high achievement in academic studies and participation in co-curricular endeavours.
