MARKET DAY

AMAZING!

On Friday March 18, the Year 11 Business Management class put on the annual Market Day.   Over the last 6 weeks students from the class have been planning, budgeting and preparing their stalls. 

14 students in seven groups organised stalls and prepared food for the day, offering fairy floss, bacon and egg rolls, milk shakes, nachos, sausages, wraps and sweets for students and staff to purchase. 

Huge queues of students wanting to order food and drinks from stalls led to a rewarding day, and over $1300 in profit was raised for charity, which will be decided by the students.

The day was a great success, many new skills and lessons were learnt. 

Thanks to all the staff and student helpers on the day, in particular Dave Blaxland, Leah Shields, Kate Legg, Eleni Stavrou, Caitlin Marshall, and Dawn O’Kennedy and especially to our fabulous Food team; Paula, Karen, Frances and Casey. 

Thanks as well to the parents and carers who supported our amazing students as they prepared for the big day!
