Victorian Softball Team

Congratulationsto Lani Rigg (Year 9), who has made both the Under 16 and Under 14 Girls Victorian Softball Teams for 2022.

Lani has also been given the honor of being named Captain of the Under 14 team.

We wish Lani all the best for the upcoming National Championships.

Intermediate Cricket

On Tuesday 22 March, students from Years 9 and 10 represented the school at the Yarra District Cricket competition at Silcock Reserve, Croydon.

Well done to all students on a great day of cricket!

Intermediate Volleyball 

As we headed out to Dandenong stadium on Thursday 10 March, you could feel the excitement in the air.   Forty, keen intermediate players were ready to take on the might of the volleyball powerhouse schools in our division.

The day started off well with some early wins, but when we came up against the might of Monbulk, despite our best efforts, we were unable to get the win. 

We bounced back strongly though, taking home a win against Lilydale Heights in our boys final and narrowly missed out in the girls final.

Well done to all who played, we really appreciated your effort, teamwork and behaviour throughout the day.  Next year will be our year!

Year 8 Volleyball 

On Thursday 17 March,  29 students from Year 8 represented LHS at the Yarra District Volleyball competition at Dandenong.

Our students represented the school fantastically and improved their skills and teamwork during the day!  Well done to all.

Year 7 Volleyball

Congratulations to the Year 7 Boys and Girls Volleyball teams, they were Yarra District Champions on, Monday 7 March.

The teams will now progress through to the Eastern Metropolitan Region competition.
