SORA Ebooks and Audiobooks

Sora Sweet Reads is back! This is a program running 4 May - 17 August with a mix of 44 ebooks and audiobooks which have multiple copies via our SORA app. It’s like candy for their eyes and ears! Students are encouraged to read these ebooks and audiobooks and earn badges on the SORA app. This can be accessed via SIMON under the Library Links heading.

Stories About Country

This term we are looking at the idea of Country. We have looked at a story about Anzac Day which helped shape our identity as a nation. The future is in our hands and stories can help us focus on what we can do. We have some amazing books about trees and the environment to read on this journey. Our National Simultaneous Storytime book this year (May 25) is ‘Family Tree’ by Josh Pyke. Students will join others around the nation listening to this story about the power of a seed and a tree to connect us, protect us and help us reach the sky.
