Grevillea House

What a wonderful start to the term it has been in Grevillea. It was fantastic to see so many parents come in on parent teacher night and to be able to celebrate the learning of students, with their families.

Students have been engaged in their learning and working with their teachers to build skills and knowledge. Additionally, many have been off to sports and excursions, something which is greatly appreciated, especially after the limitations of the last two years.

Our SRC have selected our House Charity which will benefit from our fundraising efforts across the year, “300 Blankets is dedicated to supporting people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.” We look forward to running some fun activities and educating the House students about the important work of the “300 Blankets” organisation.

Our Year 12 House and School Leaders (pictured) are excited to raise money and gather resources for our charity and to represent the students.  They are making good use of the leadership skills they learned in their camp at the end of Term 1. It is inspiring to see our Year 12 Leaders are working with the SRC representatives from each year level to ensure we can make Grevillea the best it can be.
