Primary Cross Country

Today, we had our Primary Altona District Cross Country at JK Grant Reserve. It was cold and windy, but our team of 22 students did not let it stop them from having a really successful day. We have 8 students progressing to the Hobson’s Bay Division Cross Country at President’s Park in Werribee on the 1st of June. Congratulations to the following students: 

• 9/10 Girls: Talia Mirzayeva 4th, Catarina Brum 9th
• 11 Boys: Edward McSweeny 5th
• 11 Girls: Lana Serverdija 2nd, Amani Ah Kit 4th, Tatjana Coso 8th, Emma Ryan 9th 
• 12 Boys: Cooper Cassidy 10th 

A special mention also has to go to Alexander Cowen, Michael Dymott, David Lazar and Thomas Alexopolous who, due to unforeseen circumstances, competed in the older age group and ran incredibly well against students older than them. Another special mention to Sam Barratt and David Lazar who chose to compete twice.
