Online Parent Information Evening -  Raising Teens in a Hyper-Sexualised Society

Dear Parents/Guardians of our Year 7-9 Students,

On Monday 6th June, from 7:00-8:00 pm, the College would like to invite all parents of the Junior School to an online Information Evening facilitated by Mr David Kobler from YourChoicez on the topic of “Raising Teens in a Hyper-Sexualised Society”.

YourChoicez comes to Mazenod each year to lead our Year 9 students in a Reflection Day on the themes of friendship, anger, sexting, digital consent, being an upstander, empathy and social media, emphasising our Catholic Social Teaching on the respect for the dignity of the human person and for the beauty and sacredness of human sexuality. In their ministry, David & his wife Katie reach tens of thousands of young people every year throughout Australia and New Zealand preparing and educating them to make positive and healthy choices around the topics of sex, dating and relationships in a non-judgemental, empathetic and empowering way.
