Year 2 - Dolphin Research / Beach Excursion

This week our Year 2s went to the Dolphin Research Institute and Balnarring Beach to learn about our ecosystem, the environment and marine life. We have been learning all about sea creatures in our writing unit on Information Reports and this was a great opportunity to learn a little more about some of these creatures up close and personal. The weather made things a little challenging, but everyone had a fantastic day exploring the rockpools, finding crabs and starfish and looking out for other exciting creatures hiding under the rocks.
