iCAN CHALLENGE

On Thursday 30th March, students, staff and parents from Langwarrin Park Primary School participated in an amazing school community event with participants walking 25km in one day from Beaumaris to Frankston. They were joined by students from our fellow Langwarrin Network Schools, Elisabeth Murdoch College, Woodlands Primary School and Langwarrin Primary School, with EMC students completing a huge 50km. The walk was along the beach the entire way and finished with the last few steps across the finish line celebrated by family, friends and the school community. As a Langwarrin community we were hoping to raise $150,000, however we have currently raised over $205,000 with the total still climbing. The kids did a fantastic job of battling the elements and maintaining a positive mindset throughout the entire walk. They all demonstrated our school values of resilience and citizenship and should be very proud of their efforts. A big thankyou Mr Hannah for helping in the lead up to the day and also to all of our parent volunteers who assisted on the day.
