Paint Playgroups Read!

Paint Playgroups Read is a new initiative in South Australia as part of the "Paint the Town Read" program. The program encourages communities to read, talk, sing, rhyme, and draw with children from birth so that they will be ready for reading and writing at school! 

As a CESA supported playgroup, St Brigid's playgroup is now a part of the Paint Playgroups Read program and have received a book swap box for families to take a book home to read with their children, and then bring the book back to swap it with another! 

Paint Playgroups Read program is much bigger than having a book swap box and we are looking forward to sharing with you as the program develops...

Some fun at playgroup!

English Class

Last Thursday St Brigid's Community Hub English class visited the Kilburn Community Centre to help create a chalk mural as a part of Harmony Day celebrations!

The Garden

This week at "The Garden" we did hand painting and made playdough taking notice of how the activities felt. 

The Garden has one session left next week but will be returning in Term 2!

Circus on a Saturday for your children. Book in before spaces run out!
