NAPLAN Assessments
NAPLAN in 2023 is for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. The Assessment period runs from Wednesday, 15.3.23 to Monday, 27.3.23.During this time, students will participate in Writing, Reading, Numeracy, Language Conventions & Spelling assessments.
Crazy Hair/Hat Day to support Zoe - 17 March
Zoe C from Year 6 is shaving her head to raise money for blood cancer research. The deed will be done following our Year 6 Assembly next Friday, 17th March. We would like to support her, so primary students are encouraged to wear crazy hair or a crazy hat for the day. If you would like to donate to Zoe's fundraiser, you can do so here:

Primary Cross Country - 24 March
On Friday 24 March, Nowra Christian School will host our Annual Years 3-12 Cross Country Carnival. The Primary event will run from 8.30 am to 10.25 am on the High School Oval. The Secondary event will commence at 11.35am. All parents are invited to bring along a picnic chair and settle in to watch the races.

Are you interested in doing 'Christianity Explained'?
Christianity Explained is an informal and relaxed four-week course. It's for anyone who wants to know more about what it means to be a Christian. It will be run here at school and is completely free. You don't need to know anything about the Bible and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like or you can just sit and listen.
We are hoping to start this Christianity Explained Course the week commencing 13 March. If you are interested in attending this course please complete this expression of interest form so we can find the most mutually beneficial time for everyone.
